Bio: 

Jeff Dawdy is a multi-talented musician who can play drums, lead guitar, bass guitar, and vocals. His musical genres cover a variety of styles including rock & roll, pop, oldies and country. His musical career started at age 14, playing drums for local musicians in the Paris, Ontario area. In one of the band practices, he discovered his passion for playing guitar. With this newly found passion, coupled with his natural musical talent, it did not take him long to develop his skills for lead guitar playing. Early on in his career, he played lead guitar for several rock & roll bands including – “Jacob”(1970’s), “Apple”(1981-86) and “Jacob Freeway”(1990-92)  Jeff also branched off to playing other non-rock & roll gigs. He was in a country band called “Bandit" (1977-1980), a duo called “Double Play" (1999-2002) and the acoustic trio “The O’Donnell’s” (2003 - 2007)  Jeff also performs a solo act which he began in 1998 and continues to do so. In 2016, Jeff joined and played lead guitar and backup vocals for “See You Next Thursday”. In November 2018, his continued quest for musical experiences led him to join the “HWY 24 Band” as their lead guitar player and vocalist. Jeff is a musical veteran in his home town of Brantford, Ontario. His extensive musical experience and love for a variety of musical styles makes Jeff a versatile musician/performer on and off stage. He is a team player who plays and contributes his talents/skills to the success of the band. More recently, he has concentrated on the writing and recording of original material which can be found on several music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Itunes and Bandcamp. Check it out!
